It all goes back to the way mother nature farms our soil. Other than animal life above the ground, there is not much soil disturbance going on. Our planet earth must have been a very fertile place before human interference came along.

This is a good video for us to learn about some of the things that go on underground.

Natures Rule - leave the soil alone and keep soil covered and planted.  The decomposition of above ground plants remnants seem to be enough to keep the soil healthy.  Leave the plants in the soil to decompose slowly.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
