Love the Video and it sounds like you have a budding TV Presenter there as well. Love the Fish but just couldn't do it myself, I mean the looking after them and then eating. I would be the same with Chooks etc. as well, call me the Chicken....

The carrots were cooked Lissa, I tried grated raw carrot, they ate it, then spat it all out in under a minute.

Never been bitten yet Phil, although I haven't hand fed in over a year (with the exception of getting them to raise their heads above the surface to chomp on some banana).

Aquaculture or aquaponics tastes great Dave, and they both give you plenty of options with the fish waste and recycled water.

Wow. Great video Rob. Fascinating what they will get excited about eating. Are the carrots cooked? Love the still pic of the fish with a mulberry stained face. And the dialogue from the Caitlin :)

Look at those snappers.... They look like they will eat anything you put into the tank Rob. Impressive. Have you ever been bitten?

What an amazing fish. The Barcoo's harvest is our collective gain.  Makes one yearn for a aquaculture setup...
