This is the inside of the honey storage level (honey super) of one of our Australian Native Bee hives. From memory, this one gave us just under 2kg of honey. This is quite a lot of honey for a native bee hive and the quantity of honey depends on the strength of the hive, location and environmental conditions. This particular hive is a cracker for making a solid amount (1-2kg) of exquisite bush honey every year for us.
