Thanks Dianne, doing community stuff actually started out as a necessity! The street we moved into was very violent but after 3 years it all calmed down. It turned out that most of the hostility was due to poverty related needs. When they run out of food they panic because they think their on their own. Once a sense of community was established they even started helping me out with all sorts of things like a contact who helped me fix my mower when parts were not available in the normal mower repair shops.

Its true the saying "what you sow you will also reap". Sow generosity & you get it.....sow a tomato seed & you get a tomato......how cool is that!

Hi Dianne.

Farina might be the best person to ask if you are having technical problems. I'm technically challenged :/ and not good with the settings on the site.

Hi Dianne,

Hope your feeling better and recovering well. Ive actually been having problems with my health also, so i know the feeling of not been able to do much and getting life back on track... and i actually need to start a garden bed or three here {we moved here mid January and i started preparing a garden bed, only to find my health, putting everything on hold.} but i have manage to get a herb box going and a few pots of this and that ... cant wait until i can get digging.

As for garden visit's, ive been longing to get to one over the last few months, but just havent been fit enough....but i am hoping to participate one day soon. {hopefully next months G.V}

Hope to meet you in person one day, Have a good week, ness

Good to have another professional on our Forum, Dianne. You can be sure we'll be 'picking your brains'. Founder of BLF Scarlett Patrick who returned to Victoria, was our resident professional and there's been a gap since she left.

Welcome Dianne!  It's great to have another cheese maker and baker join up.  Take the time to have a look around, including the groups which include cheese makers and bakers.  We also have a recipe collection in the forums.  Enjoy!!!
