Thanks Elizabeth. Agree with all the benefits you mention. By the way, I am running a workshop at the Relaxation Centre on 19th March and its called Healing and Empowerment with food gardening, It explores these benefits and works with a number of exercises to get your thinking/feeling in the right space when you garden. Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
