No Dave, it is not usual. Looks as though you could get two fruit from each down the track. Worth a whirl anyway. Or separate them if there's enough embryo roots for each one. They are tough plants and once they are growing, they just keep growing. Hmm, double-tops/double-headed take your pick.

I bought 2 pineapples today each with 2 green crowns. They were cheap ... but that's not normal, right?
A 'double-headed plant' is different?
What a clever little plant. How long have they taken to grow to their present size?
