Growing local

This is a bag mushroom compost from Kylie in the dark. I was a bit disorganized and left it in the garden under a tarpaulin for a few days. Now I realize how tasty and crunchy fresh mushrooms are, I am going to be a lot more careful and move it inside straightaway. Still not bad for a $7 bag left on the laundry floor and sprayed regularly. Totally hooked.

Nice Valerie! I have been wanting to do this for a while. Where do you get the spent blocks from?

Nice!

I think growing mushrooms from 'spent' bags is a lot cheaper than buying the expensive kits. Later, of course, you feed the garden.
