  • Yeah Andy I figured as much but we may step up to three meals of quail a week in the future, looking for another cooking option.

  • I think your deep fryer tastes a bit better Doug, to be honest.  Air fryer is a much lower fat option though.  Not quite as crispy outside or moist inside but pretty close.

  • Yum, good honest food. Are you two on a bit of a Quest to see who can come up with the Best Meals? We will be having a Red Thai Curry here tonight, never too hot for a Good Curry here.

  • I have started looking at air fryers. Would be good to get the crispy outside without using so much lard or oil.

  • I did salt and pepper squid in the airfryer tonight.  Given how well it worked, salt and pepper quail will be on the menu.
