The only sign of life so far. A shoot but no roots. Interested to see if it survives and thrives.It's a cutting from Cathie of a Concord-type grape.

    The stem has the bark shredding off it, wonder about cutting off that piece and seeing if the roots would come out from where the shoot is. I've never tried to root a hardwood cutting before.

    Nice looking shoot... Fingers crossed for you Elaine. I have a pot of cuttings that have got leaves but I haven't any idea if they have roots yet.

    I would love to grow a grape, but where oh where could I put it.  If I get one, I'll worry about a space then - I feel this is what Susan does.
