Not Lopak or turnip. A rhisome like ginger, Its leaves look like turmeric. Very easy to grow but can become invasive.

Love a nice spicy radish, wish they'd grow in our summer! The bamboo shoot you're having when you don't have the space for the real thing! Sound interesting, what's the name and where did you get the seeds?

Is that "lopak" - white radish?

Not quite sure, got them from my mother-in-law, quite sweet and crunchy. texture is like a mix of bamboo shoot and Jicama. Quite invasive so I'll pull them out after this season.

Looks wonderful! What are the little white carrot-look-alikes?

The ginger were from last year (first year ). I've planted considerably more this year and can't wait to see the result.

Is it that time already.... must rip out the pumpkin vines so I can see if anything else survived!
