corn silking up

Waiting for that illusive moment when the silk is out and the pollen needs to be shaken down can be frustrating, especially if there is rain about to wash away the pollen. I think I fret too much. Nature takes care of it without my interference.

    I've not had a lot of success with seed Barbara and my main priority is food. I have been using F1 seedlings from the markets in recent times.
