Make sure you stir it if you put lots of lawn clippings in - I made this mistake with ours and wondered why it took so long to make compost. There was a huuuge clump of dried out stuck together grass that wouldn't break down. All the best!!

Thanks Chris, I don't know thew names of most of the plants, there are a lot of established natives, which the birds love! It's worries me a bit that when I have ripe fruit and veggies, they will get the first helping so I don't encourage them too much.

Both Jess, it's my first one so I'm learning about about getting the mix right. Mowed the lawn yesty arvo so one bin is nearly 1/2 full, woo hoo!
