The last purple cauliflower for the year is in a race involving growth, caterpillars and human greed.Of course, things would be far more relaxed if I actually covered my plants.

I think I'm having some success with the fake butterflies on sticks. The stick is fine metal and pokes into the flesh of the plant easily leaving the butterfly "flying" nicely just above the food bit of the plant.

I cover my plants but the butterflies still get in :(. Looks yum
