Growing local

Have wanted a native bee hive for a long time. Kids contributed to this as a birthday gift.
Bought from City Chicks Ingrid at the Nambour Show. I'm yet to see the little darlings out and about as I leave before the sun hits them and get home after dark!
Clare has apparently taken some footage for me while she was home and reckons they are visiting my flowers.

This weekend is all busy again and leaving before 10am :(

Might have to take a day off work lol, but that means losing a days pay. We will meet eventually!

:D I just hope mine stick around. Will love them too.....when I finally get to meet them!

I have this horror that they will decide they don't like my place (not enough food??) and pack themselves off leaving me with an expensive empty hive.

Bee envy lol

Joanne I have chook envy!! I want what you are having in your front yard ;) I came home and dreamt that night of setting up little fences in my backyard and getting lovely fat chooks that wouldn't fly over them.

Michelle, what massive difference did they make? Better fruit setting? Please tell me it was better fruit setting lol.
