I was trying to make them look as "unfishy" as possible Lissa. My Rozie wouldn't eat them otherwise.  Rob and I are both talking about mesh gloves now, and proper sharp knives.

The first harvest, something very special. I couldn't watch to the end in case some fingers came off with that slippery fish.

Why not just leave the head on, gut them and bake them whole?

Will be very interested to see how you liked the flavour.

Finally, after all this time, a harvest video.  (With help from Rob Collings.)

Also Andy I have an Ibc aquaponics set up for sale if any one is interested. It's attractive to look at. Covered in pine pailings for an aesthetically pleasing look.

Had trouble with our biggest tank too because of too much rain. Tank 3 threatened to burst start to leak a little. A quick part empty into various buckets and bins and it was right again. I hope you used four inch this time Andy.

The tank didn't have an overflow pipe Elaine.  With all the rain, it got so full and so heavy that it tore the screws right out of the sleepers (even though each board was double screwed with 75mm screws).  Since the video, I have also installed an overflow!

Lost the plot here Andy … did the boards heave off the side of the tank because … ?

You would probably have built it properly in the first place Cheryl !
