Growing local

I'm looking for some inspiration ..  what is everyone's top two favourite things to grow over summer?  Especially plants that don't get attacked too much by bugs.

My two:  sweet corn / snake beans

Corn loves the summer!

Definitely Cheryl, I sowed mini corn seeds in late January this year and still got good results. they seem to be indestructible.

The rule is harvest the corns young.

Would anyone coming along to the GV on Sunday have any Mouse Melon seeds or plants they could spare. I could swap for Asian Green seeds of others. I would like to have a go at growing these.

Hi Dianne I MAY have some in the fridge
