To all the wonderful supporters of Kumbartcho, as of 2pm 20th March
2020 the Environment Centre at Kumbartcho closed as a preventative
measure to minimize visitors exposure to the Coronavirus.
HOWEVER THE GROUNDS AND THE NURSERY ARE STILL OPEN AND OPERATING AS
USUAL SO WE HOPE YOU CONTINUE TO ENJOY ALL ASPECTS OF WHAT THEY
DELIVER TO THE WIDER COMMUNITY!
New Service starts Tuesday! - "Plant pick and collect!"
We will have your plants ready for pickup if you pre-order them!
Here's how it works.
1. Go to our website and print our stock-list www.kumbartcho.org.au/nursery
2. Pick what you would like using the plant descriptions on the
website to choose and mark them on stock-list with your name and phone
number
3. Scan your stock-list order and email to communitynurserypr@bigpond.com
4. We will call you when its ready and you can pay by card over the
phone or on arrival
5. You will be in and out the door super fast

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion. It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
