My new fav growing site has offered a great DIY for garlic. Jenna's teaching skills are excellent -- so check it out. Since I keep failing with garlic, I just gotta know what I'm doing wrong.

The problem with the garlic could be if in a warm area  do not get cold enough  even for the garlic recommended and here do not even get any frost and that may be why not growing .

Hi Jeff, that can certainly be the case, I am fortunate in that the cloves I put in every year have become  acclimatised to my area over a period of 15 years and produce very well every year. Unless you know the origin of the bulbs you purchase, best thing is to put them in the fridge 2 weeks before you plant them out to be certain they receive the chill factor.
