Friday 18 - Sunday 27 September 2015

We’re living up to this year’s theme of EAT, LAUGH, PLAY, STAY by turning on our most spectacular, delicious, funnest, fashionable, flower-iest Carnival ever. There’s something for everyone no matter what your age or interests!

Everything is in place and Toowoomba is ready for our favourite 10 days of the year.

We’re very proud of our city and our Carnival and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Couldn't tell you re this year Elaine. It is the C of Flowers so I suppose that is everyones main aim.

Perhaps we should start to harass the oragnisers re having more vege/fruit gardens displayed.

Unless it's changed a lot, there are NO food gardens and NO native plants.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
