Event Description

Solar cooker enthusiasts Stan and Jane Cajdler will demonstrate the use of direct sunlight to cook your daily food. They will talk about solar cooking principles and show you how to cheaply make a cooker and use it to bake or roast food thus saving on power usage in the home.

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
