Learn time/cost/water-saving, chemical free & sustainable techniques with Pia Dowling, covering Tools/Equipment, Site Characteristics, Garden Layout, Soil Characteristics, Importance of creating a ‘Viable’ soil (incl practical demos), Watering, Plants (inclScience of Pollination), Importance of ‘Workers’ (e.g., pollinators) & ‘Warriors’ (e.g., predatory insects, spiders & birds), Dog Patrol.   

Duration 2 hours; Workshop Entry = $5 for General Public, Gold Coin for Members, Free for regular YCG Volunteers; No bookings required

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
