Wonderful gardens Jacqui, thanks so much for today! Have planted my NZ Spinach already.

Curtis thinks he may have left his jumper behind (it's red with "Roots" emblem on it). Did anyone happen to see it after we left?

Could I suggest that those who want to, wear a name tag?

Sorry for the delay in replying. Ali, kids are always welcome. Donna, it's not muddy (despite the rain), there are lots of wood chips on the pathways so the garden is in good shape. The markets are on Saturday's, so they're not open on the same day as the Seed Savers meeting, which is Sunday, but there are lots of cafes and food suppliers all around West End.

Sorry didn't think about organising food. Will have cake, biscuits, tea, coffee, milo etc to drink. Maybe if you want to bring some food to share, that would be great.

What a shame you won't be able to make it Florence :(

Ali, my boys nearly always come along with me. There is a *huge* tree that the eldest - 4yo- loves to play among the roots with his cars/ transformers. The 1yo just started walking but likes to crawl around in the dirt ;)

Think hubby will come along this weekend as there is a market next door and we might have lunch at a nice cafe somewhere together - must remember to pack spare clothes as it will probably be very muddy!
