Introduction workshop for those who wish to keep bees. This workshop will cover:

  • Bee Hive and it contents
  • The role of the Bees
  • The Brood Box
  • Harvesting Honey
  • Maintenance of the Hive
  • Pest Management


Venue: Held in the grounds of the Historic Crohamhurst Observatory, Crohamhurst (Peachester). Location 15min from Landsborough and Maleny.  20 min from Beerwah.


Cost: $110. Workshop must be paid in advance of date.  Max participants 8.

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
