Saturday 13th February 2016

1:30pm – 4:30pm: Haloumi and Fermented Food – with Elisabeth Fekonia

Learn how to make Haloumi cheese, cultured butter, yoghurt, kefir and sour cream. In this workshop you will see how easy it is to make Haloumi cheese and put the life back into pasteurised milk and cream to make healthy life giving dairy products. Audience participation is encouraged and tasting of topics covered on the day will be available. Handouts and recipes included.

Please bring a notebook and pen.

Elisabeth makes her living by training people how to be more self-sufficient. As someone who has done 2 of her courses, I can say that they are good value. At the time I did mine, a substantial vegetarian lunch was included.
