Event Description

Saturday November 14th 10am

Phil has offered to be our guest reporter this time - thank you Phil. If anyone takes any good photos on the day please send these to Phil (quickly is good) to include.

We're off to visit Elizabeth's new garden. Gayle D's lovely daughter who helps out at Gayle's GV's.

A suburban garden with some natives and a large olive tree - some slopes but fairly flat where you walk.

The aim is to have plenty of edibles, flowers, play and adventure areas for 2 small children (4 & 3), not too much work for their parents.

Parking on street.

…………………………………………………………………………………………

IT'S GOOD TO HAVE A VARIETY OF PEOPLE REPORTING ON THESE GV'S TO GIVE DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES. LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER TO TAKE SOME PHOTOS ON THE DAY AND WRITE UP A REPORT IN THEIR OWN WORDS. ANY ONE LIKE TO OFFER? - PHIL HAS OFFERED, THANK YOU PHIL.

………………………………………………………………………………………

Children welcome but must be supervised by parents at all times.

Please bring a small plate of food or drink to share and any plants, produce or seed that you want to share, swap or sell.

RSVP required for the address to be sent closer to the date to the email address you nominated when you joined.

Late attendees welcome. Message Lissa or phone 0414 445 581 on the day for the address.

WANT TO HOST A GV OF YOUR OWN?

Lissa, I don't seem to have an address for this morning's event. Looked in my gmail account as well as on here. Did I miss it?

Oh, and a few corn cobs cropped this morning :)

I've also managed to get down the awkward bunch of Dwf Ducasse narnies and will bring the good ones along to share.

Also - green Amaranth seedlings.

Enjoy your time with family Susan :)

I will finally have a bottle of Elder Flower "champagne" to bring along. The last ones took forever to develop some fizz but this bottle seems to be going well enough to drink.

Sorry guys, my brother has unexpectedly turned up for the weekend so we will be showing them the sights all weekend. Have a great time and I hope to see everyone next visit

I'll bring some lemon grass seedlings that are volunteering in my yard. I also have lots of sweet basil and red giant mustard seeds.

Elaine, I haven't forgotten your mint which is still in a little pot and now established.

I'll have some Bitter Melon seed from my first melon of the season to share. Might even have some melon. Useful addition to most moist dishes you prepare and they make great soup.

Will bring some Dragonfruit cuttings both red and yellow.

Seed of various sort. Cuttings.
