Event Description

Contact Lissa if any problems.

Come back to Susan's with us for a first hand look at all the changes and new plantings she has made since last year.

From Susan:

I grow many varieties of fruit trees, some only just starting but have some established plants.  I also have self wicking beds for vegetables and am building my own wetpot system for the herb patch - hopefully it will be well established by the time everyone comes.

Ground is completely flat but there are about 5 stairs to get up to the house.

Plenty of on street parking.

We'll have about 15 chairs available to sit on and a covered area set up.

Be aware that Susan has a honey bee hive.

Children welcome but must be supervised by parents at all times.

Please bring a small plate of food or drink to share and any plants, produce or seed that you want to share, swap or sell.

RSVP required for the address to be sent closer to the date to the email address you nominated when you joined.

Late attendees welcome. Message Lissa or phone on the day for the address.

It's easy. Check HERE at the Garden Visit Group (see menu top of the page), read the blurb and contact Lissa.

That's cool Phil - hope to see you at other visits.

Hello Susan, I would like to meet you and see your garden but I also have a volunteering commitment on the day (Bushcare). Too much to fit on that particular day unfortunately. But definitely will visit next time.

Make a day of it Florence :) The fair goes until 3pm

Would like to check out Susan's new fruit trees, but it appears to clash with BOGI fair, which I would like to go to as well ^^"

Dianne, I just read up about Cara Cara oranges - they don't seem to be "blood red"... all the websites describe them as being "pink fleshed".  I might just have to find room for a true blood orange since you've had so much success with yours :)

Susan, I am going out to check my Blood Oranges at Footy Half time for Graham to take a photo if the Oranges are Blood Red now I am going to make some Blood Oranges in Minted Syrup and some Blood Orange Syrup. I did pick my Bergamont Oranges but someone picked 3 of them but I will get enough juice out of what I still have to make some syrup. There are a few other things I have made but I will put them in the proper section....At least I can still find my way around the kitchen at the moment...

Sorry I can't make it, I am volunteer working on this day.

Dianne, that's such a shame. I was looking forward to chatting and trying whatever marvelous pickle creation you'd been working on. Focus on getting well - I'm thinking of you.
