Event Description

This is your chance to visit the garden of Andy Cumberland.

Andy's garden is flat, bar the driveway in (his 84yr old Mum navigates it without problem), with plenty of street parking.

Andy has been busy learning to make his own cheeses and liqueur for some years - very successfully as many of us who have tasted them can testify.

He has his own Aquaponics set up and has gained extensive knowledge about running the systems in the last year He is also proud Daddy to a small flock of chickens and  builds his own garden seats and bird houses.

An interesting man in many ways Andy likes to share his knowledge so come along and have a chat to learn something new and share your own experiences.

Andy has a small dog: "Bobbie barks at visitors but is a big (tiny really) girl's blouse".

Some extra attractions on the day: Henry will bring along his coir products - see HERE for more information.

Plus Darren James will have compost /worm towers for sale. Please check HERE and leave Darren a message if you would like one.

Children welcome but must be supervised by their parents at all times.

Please bring a small plate of food / drink to share and any excess produce, seed, plants etc that you want to swap, giveaway or sell.

For confidentiality the address will be messaged to those who RSVP, closer to the date. Please note how many people you will be bringing so we have some idea of numbers.

Had a lovely time on Saturday Andrew and Roz, Alexander is more inspired by your brewing, the quiche was to die for , well worth breaking my diet for. The garden is looking great too, the chook pen is a delight with Roz's flower painting as well as your ingenious design.

Andy - looks like 20 to possibly 30 people coming today (depending on kids etc). Do you need anything else brought to help out with such numbers?

Excellent on all counts Lissa.

Hopefully will have the time to do this RECIPE.

Will have my 4yr old grandson with me on the day also.

I'll bring along a bottle of the Elderflower Champagne (fizzy drink - no alcohol), cuttings of Aibika and hopefully a nice dish made from Nopales of which I have an abundant supply of young pads at the moment.
