Everyday Fermenting~Befriending Bacteria

WHAT: This hands-on workshop introduces you to the importance of maintaining good gut health and techniques for everyday fermenting: how fermented foods can assist you in overcoming some of the common health ailments of modern day living; the history of fermenting foods; fermentation recipes including kombucha, water and milk kefir, pickles, house cheese, sauerkraut, fruit and nut ferments and coconut yoghurt.

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
