A day for fun and information with stalls from relevant organisations (such as Caboolture Seed Savers), talks from Bob Irwin and others, children's activities and entertainment. MC for the day is Ranger Stacey.

For us the highlight was the talk by Bob Irwin and the informed questions which followed. An old guy with a young heart, lean as a whip and passionate as ever. Great turnout of youngsters which is very pleasing to see.

Thanks Elaine.   From what I hear so far there is also a worn Farm talk  for anyone interesed and lots of free stuff for the kids.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
