Event Description

This is a theory and practice 2 day course running on consecutive Saturdays. You will learn the framework of knowledge that allows you to understand how to practically apply the philosophy of biodynamics, how to use biodynamic preparations, work with the planets, gain an appreciation of the energetic forces at play in your garden, make compost using biodynamic practice, manage weeds, pests and diseases and build very healthy soil and plants. I hope that you will gain an appreciation of the deeper spirit of nature by delving your thinking and doing into biodynamic gardening.  And at the same time become aware that biodynamics is incredibly cost effective and simpler to use than pure organic methods.

The workshop is presented by Peter Kearney, an experienced biodynamic and organic gardener who has conducted these workshops for three years, worked with and studied biodynamics for 9 years and is a member of Biodynamic Agriculture Australia.

Please bring along your lunch. Afternoon and morning tea are provided each day, plus comprehensive course materials, a set of biodynamic preparations to get you started and ongoing support online. Price is $240 for the 2 days with discounts for couples.

Course held in the beautiful acreage gardens of the presenter with vegetables, herbs, fruit trees and Australian native foods
