Botanical Bazaar is the Gold Coast's largest Garden and Sustainability Festival. It is staged by Gold Coast Rotary and supported by Cr Peter Young Div 5. Botanical Bazaar is an interactive Gardening and Sustainable Living event aimed to educate and inspire nature enthusiasts of all ages.
It's where naturally wild, urban gardeners and nature lovers connect.
After the sudden lockdown on festival opening day in 2021, we were completely overwhelmed with support from our exhibitors, our volunteers, and 'you' our community! 2022 festival weekend promises to be bigger and better than ever!
This year, we've chosen the 'BUTTERFLY' as the symbol of Botanical Bazaar 2022 because it represents spiritual rebirth, transformation, change, hope, and life. We've engaged the community in our 'BUTTERFLY ART PROJECT' to help us to decorate the festival! Look out for them throughout the festival and vote for your favourite! A huge thanks to the Nerang Men's Shed for creating the amazing butterfly templates.
Most of our inspirational speakers who were on board last year will be on the stages this year...soon to be announced!
You'll learn from the experts how to grow your own food, how to harvest and store seeds, learn all about soil health and composting, how to create a habitat garden, how to live off-grid and bucket loads of sustainable living concepts. You'll also find approx 90 green exhibitors where you can explore plant nurseries, garden art, materials and tools, eco gifts and homewares, organic beauty products, there'll be workshops and demonstrations...something for everyone. We'll showcase a range of amazing Community groups and in the 'Kid's Hub', plenty of earth-friendly activities including a 'mud kitchen' and 'crafternoon sessions'.
Come along for an educational, fun, and relaxing day at the Country Paradise Parklands with live music Saturday by The Vegetable Plot and local music Sunday by Kate Leopold (&Treats!), plus we'll have buskers, poets, roving entertainers, and amazing foodies!
Early Bird Tickets are now open! One and Two Day Tickets will be available.
One day tickets can be used either day. >>Click GOING or INTERESTED>> in this event and then every time we update on the event page, you'll see it first!
