Thanks all for a wonderful day.....Thanks Ashley for the watchful eyes on my monkeys, i had a wonderful stress free few hours. xxx
Thanks all for the goodies, shall be sowing asap. (as soon as its time on the moon cycle, its dorment at the mo and the 12th is for root crops and then the 14th till the 17 is only for prep work and then on the 18th to the 28 is great for above ground crops...etc etc.)
So cant wait to sow me seeds, thanks all. and hope to see everyone else at the next garden visit.

Of course not, Florence! :-) I figured hauling a camera on top of my backpack was too much and that 'someone else' would take some pix. Everyone must have had the same thought ;-)

It was a delightful couple of hours and even the all-stations 1 hour train journey didn't seem so tedious.

We had a visit from Addy and Derek later the same day and what a wonderful collection of seeds I have now! Fabulous!

I'm thinking of sprouting the Amaranth and the Pigeon Peas we all seem to be drowning in just now. If you can't plant 'em, sprout 'em!

i can't come as usual. school play rehearsals from 9 - 11am then aikido end of year party from 9-12pm (ie we catch only the last bit in a frantic dash). then paint the house... arg. I can't do the two dash thing - it's too much
enjoy!

Hi all, sorry can't make it this month or the next. i have a big garage sale this saturday. the guy next door is from the soloman Islands. He is selling lots of plants at our garage sale- some alternative vegetables. you might be interested in them as they grow really well here. we have a few and they grow better than the english vegies. If you are interested before or after the seed swap come to 64 Lancelot St Tennyson. enjoy the parklands and happy silly season

You're a wuss Vanessa... how hard can it be lol! Kidding - I find it hard enough with two, can't imagine three... was just thinking might be a bit cheaper for you and easier than navigating city streets/ finding parking.

I was just thinking yeap, go in by train, easyer. but i need to bring in some stuff and most likely getting a few things too.......not easy with three little ones under 6 years of age heehee. Car seems better.
