That's what rain is for, Elaine...and damp soil.

Also grass clippings retain a lot of moisture.

If he was gonna rip the cardboard up I was not interested: but whole and with muck? Way to go.

Cool! Surprised though that he put all that stuff into the worm bed dry rather than wetting it all first. Works for him!

I put all the paper and cardboard  through a paper shredder cardboard is good because it has little ink and good volume but only problem when composted  a massive pile   gives small quantity of finished compost.When its shredded  looks less like waste neater.
