Growing local

Follow-up on some projects and spring has sprung

This is one of the few times that I am happy with how the garden is going. I also follow up on a few garden projects that I mentioned last time.

Mine all just runs off the pump Cathie.  However, it is a multi-run setup eg. line 1, line 2 etc.  The little electric unit that allows me to choose what run, day, time and duration also includes a pressure setting that I could turn down.  They sell them at Bunnings.

Nice to have success with your grape cuttings Andy. Seeing all your citrus makes me remember I promised I would plant a grapefruit for my son. If only it would rain for us. I have 8000 litres of capacity just waiting to be refilled. I am curious about how you run your irrigation off the tank - I would love to have help with watering but can't do gravity feed and my pump pressure is too high.

Thanks Susan.  The ones out the front are really suffering. I might have to do some mite research.  I have baby new growth on two of the grape cuttings now.

Nice going Andy. Watch your tomatoes. Mine have died off again and I noticed your leavers were going "crunchy" I think my problem is Mites and I'm having real trouble getting them under control
