Growing local

Hi team, quick question! Does anyone have any favourite local (SE QLD) blogs that go a little more in depth on gardening?

Thanks all! I love Robbob Susan, thinking of getting some root pouches from him soon!

I love watching Robbob's youtube channel.  He is located in Ipswich and is quite knowledgeable in just about everything and very generous with sharing his know-how.

Here's his link to his channel but he also runs a blog

FYI: The best gardening book I've read that explores the conditions we often have to deal with is

Tropical Food Gardens by Leonie Norrington as it focuses on growing food in  Australian tropical and sub-tropical climates.

It's  a manual I reckon. Wonderfully written, laid out and organised.

I suggest Jerry Coleby Williams

https://jerry-coleby-williams.net/

Just deploy his search engine (bottom of page) for specifics.

More generally and not so localised...

Also My Kitchen  Garden (P.Mefta)

https://www.mykitchengarden.info/

I'm not sure where P.Mefta lives but his gardening DIY under sub tropical conditions is superb.

The best Oz Permaculture influenced site I know for what we may grow  is Tropical Permaculture:

https://www.tropicalpermaculture.com/

Always search there for answers -- limited  but great advice.

A tad warmer and more Asian oriented in way of plants: Asian Garden 2 Table (Florida based)

https://www.asiangarden2table.com

The Texas based Masters of Horticulture is inspiring (sub tropical climate)

Of the YouTubers the most informative, I reckon, re kitchen gardening, is Growing your Greens with John Kohler.

Indeed, gardening anywhere with anything is covered somewhere on YouTube. 'Tis an amazing resource.

For local coverage and tips  you won't find better that whats' on offer from this site's Google search engine.

Bookmark it...as Ning's inbuilt search option is very cumbersome. You'll be surprised how much is archived here.

Hi Sid, May I suggest a site Successful Gardening -https://www.annettemcfarlane.com/ ;

She has some good planting seed guides and many details for our south east area of Queensland.

Have followed these but not as local as I assume you are asking for. https://eight-acres.com.au/blogs/news and http://witcheskitchen.com.au
