I could ask Chris to be messenger/courier again! He did that for me last garden visit to Donna's... thanks, would really love some luffa seeds, what can I swap you for them? Edible amaranth? Choy sum?
Hi Florence, Yes please the pics look great hopefully i will be able to get some seeds to return them back to you. Thank you so much for thinking of me. See you soon, Trinette :-)
Hi Florence, a lift would be great on Sunday but ONLY if it's on your way. I can drive there if it's not. Thanks for the offer! By the way, one of the sunflowers from your seeds is just about to head, I can't wait!
We finally bought a 2nd hand outdoor setting last night - I have been panicking lol. If it isn't a problem, an extra couple of seats would probably be welcome - but don't go to too much trouble. Thanks :)
Hi Florence
Sorry wasn't 'Following' my own Garden Visit - pretty slack, I know. Very interested to hear what others have to say regarding this, certainly is a really good idea.
Hi Florence, I'm going to have to miss the Organic Gardening lecture tomorrow - I've got a study session for uni and an assignment due Friday. Sorry!! I hope it's good - looks interesting.
Thanks heaps for the link! I think I'll leave a message for Scarlett requesting that any photo discussions be tagged (by admin) with a specific word to make them easier to search!
Hi Florence, thank you I did get your messgage. Sorry it was rude of me to not get back to you. Never mind about the garden visit, im sure there will be a next time :-)
Hi Florence, I don't think I'll be able to make it to Trinette's garden visit but thanks for the offer! Hopefully I'll see you at the seminars at Sunnybank Hills library. Do you eat pumpkin? I can bring you one from the garden if you like.
Thanks florence. yes they were very cute back then. Now, 10 months or so later they are still cute but in a whole new way. For instance over the last few days they have been running around all wet from the rain despite have access to shelter. They don't seem to mind the wet too much and they look all scraggly!
Glad to hear (from your blog) that yours have started laying. You won't no what to do with them soon!
Hi Florence
Yes, the tubers are eaten as a cooked starchy vegetable, but are also quite ok raw. We eat them stir fried, made into mash, stewed and or casseroled and grated raw in salads like a green papaya slad or a carrot salad.

It was our pleasure to have you both over. You are both very welcome to visit our garden again.
