If you want to, you can simply pick a month (usually meetings have been at the end) or you can wait and see if/ when you decide.
Also some of the members are really new to gardening (like me) and don't have much going yet and then get pointers from more experienced gardeners.

I will say it is a good excuse to get out in the garden to clean it up - I wish I had mine months ago now (hubby has been working hard getting a concrete edge down and some mulch spread so it looks good for the meeting lol)

Anna, if you are interested in coming to a garden visit (which is just an excuse to get together with other gardeners and chat about our gardens), you could host your own on a Saturday - let me know if you are interested...
Unfortunately I have booked Anthony to come and give a talk at mine and it is already planned otherwise I would have had it on a Saturday. I am thinking about an excursion in a couple of months so will see if I can get that on a Saturday anyway so you can have a chance to meet everyone.

ihave a small collection of native orchids and some other types, none of the natives i have are in flower now , but i have a Cymbidium that is about to , and a Cattleya that is.I dont have a bush house ,most of the natives are on slabs and hanging in the trees .sun can be a tricky thing with some orchids , morning full sun /afternoon shade or 50-70% shade cloth is a very general rule of thumb ,Deciduous trees are good for natives as they provide full winter sun summer shade but it is a very big subject which is the main reason i decided to go with natives just to try and keep it on a manageable scale .
