Thanks very much for your tips on companion planting. I didn't realise that some insect repelling plants can actually inhibit the growth of other plants. I'll look further into this..Have a great day.

Wow, cool looking front yard!
I just got the first edible planted out front (a grape vine) but it may be a while before we do anything like you've done.
wow lyn, the front yard looks grand, very nice garden. That will get the neighbours and people passing, thinking about gardening. :-)
(For the past year, Ive always been looking at a neighbours yard up the road and seeing what he is growing now in his front yard and I always see others stareing at the yard....and ive had too peep the horn at them, the lights have turned green GO people. heehee.)
Hi Lyn
I have the Galangal Red at home, pls let me know your address if you want me to drop it off. Otherwise we will be around most of the weekend, just give me a call and I will make sure we are home.
Thanks
about copying to word- i don't know why it's not working for you. i can highlight anything, hit CTRL C, and then CTRL V in word and it comes out - thumbnails and everything. mine is word 2003 i think
it would be fantastic if forest lake did a TT. I've been keeping in contact with the transitoin hub, but am not really doing anything with it although am very supportive - this is like my contribution i suppose
