My apologies. I didn't know the phone altered my typing in the comment.
I was hoping to find out where I could get edamame (soy bean) seed in Qld. Specifically the Bunya variety which is better suit to our Qld conditions.
When you say you like some "Kegs" of Bunyas, do you means Bunya nuts?. Bunyas will drop their nuts or the huge round balls that encase the nuts in summer time. There re several parks around Brisbane that you can go and collect them from. If you search for "Bunya Nuts" on this website you should find articles that have been written about this in the last few years.
If you would like a Bunya nut seedling I have a couple. Please be aware that these grow into huge trees and are not suitable for the average house block. They also take many years to get large enough to fruit.
Good Morning Kin, Welcome to Brisbane Local Foods (BLF). You will find many of our members share your dreams of a Pesticide Free and Self Sustainable Garden and am sure they will be more than happy to help you in your quest to get there.
Here at the top of the page, you will find many GROUPS to join. One is the GARDEN VISITS, 2017 GARDEN VISITS CALENDAR here. I am sure you would enjoy visiting our member’s gardens. We have members who grow many different kinds of Gardens, Permaculture, Aquaculture, Wicking Beds, Traditional and many more. The GV's are usually held once a month. You may like to go into your page and change the Pea Leaf Avatar for one of your own, it makes it a little more personal and as soon as we see your own Avatar we know who it is. Please enjoy BLF…..
