Hi Lissa and thanks for your comment on our efforts in the Southern Moreton Bay Islands. Like us on Facebook which we use as a bulletin board or email at smbifoodgrowers@gmail.com to get on our slower news cycle. Regards, Dave Tardent

Thanks Lissa, the eco-bris.blogspot.com email subscription issue should be fixed now, thanks for your interest! I'll certainly pass on any events I hear about - are ones at the Sunshine Coast of interest too? I get up there now and again and they seem always to have wonderful sustainable food festivals and things on! :)

Hi Lissa

The black sopotes that I mentioned last weekend still have a while to go to ripen. I trial picked a few 2 weeks ago and they are still as hard as rocks so assume another month yet. I will keep you posted.

Regards

Ross

Hi Lissa,

I am so sorry I will need to cancel my garden visit on the 19th September.

My brother in law has just been diagnosed with cancer and is having a major operation to remove it on the 15th.

He and/or my sister will be staying here that weekend and possibly for some time after as he recuperates and they wait to hear if further treatment will be required.

They live in Sarina, it is so hard for rural/remote folk when things like this happen.

Hope to see you this Saturday, sorry to be so late replying everything has been topsy turvy.

Susanne

G'day Lissa......warren here:) Thanks for sending me such a nice welcome. You can see my garden on YouTube( if it's still there). Look up "Farmer Waz". I made a few mistakes on some plant names, but it shows a trip around my garden which is cool:)

Lissa

I have not been very viewing active lately and thought I had responded to your initial message though possibly did not activate the response.

Yes 'twas me you spoke with just before I signed up. And yes I did get in contact Mike Crook.

Thanks

Kind regards
