Growing local

I'm looking to buy some cheap (used?) pots hopefully tomorrow (Sat April 22). Does anyone have any tips where to look?

I've seriously got the growing bug and while I'm making up my mind how to make my big beds, I want to get something into the dirt so I can get my hands dirty :-) I've also now got only a week off work and want to maximise my time in the (non-existent) garden :-)

Any tips for what to plant now would be great too! I'm looking at planting herbs, vegetables and fruits, depending on what's appropriate to plant now.

Thanks :-)

try calling reverse garbage (they were in west end but have moved to woolloongabba) - they might have some. (07) 3891 9744

Hi Daniel, I have a few spare pot kicking around the place if you want them.  They're small (15-20cm diameter) but you're welcome to them.  Also if you would like a bit of gum tree chip we have a whole pile out the front.  Let me know and I can leave them out for you.

Thanks Jessica! I tried the dump shops today, but unfortunately they are closed because of the holidays. Will try again next week :-)
