Growing local

Finally after the dreadful damage from Cyclone Debbie and her flooding I feel like I'm moving forward. TodY I planted a Lychee Tree; 2 bisexual pawpaw trees and made up my strawberry patch.
My potatoes are growing even though I planted them late.

The chilli's, tomatoes and zucchini are my harvest so far.  Everything is still in the beginning stages of growth.  The tomatoes are very sweet though; chilli's a bit hot for me but good in cooking and the zucchini is the very first I have ever grown.  Things are coming back to life again.  I'm so grateful.

Thanks Cheryl.

Elaine I'm learning my way around this blog business just like I am with my garden.  I hope you all put up with me as I learn.  Thanks for the help mate.

The picture is of the men installing our new windmill after Cyclone Debbie broke the last one off at the head.  It is now fully installed but is still not pumping water.  The men will come back this week to have another look at it.

Carol to add photos to your blog go to OPTIONS at the top right of the page (just to the left of your name).

The drop down will give you different options including EDIT POST. Click on this and it will open your blog again for you to edit including adding photos.

At the top, under POST TITLE (ie the name you gave your blog) it has a menu (as described by Elaine).

It says ENTRY, Add: followed by five icons. The second icon in looks like a picture in a frame. This is the one to click on to add your photos from your computer.

Let us know if you need any more help.

Carol - get a new text box. Look at the nav bar and see an icon 2nd in from the left. Hover mouse and see 'image' pop out. Hit that and follow your nose. See pic:
