Growing local

Well after all the rain and the vegie garden being full of weeds, today we spent the whole day getting it back under control ready for mulching and replanting.  I have ordered bales of sugar cane to cover the bare ground as I think there will be quite a few weed seeds in there.  We saw heaps of worms in it today.  A satisfying days work.
