What a difference a few months of good weather and reasonable temperatures can make to your garden. Everything is green and alive! Those who ventured out to outback Park Ridge for a garden visit, will no doubt remember the mid 30's temps and overpowering humidity that summer often brings to these parts.
As you can see it is not all doom and gloom in my garden. Here I grew these Kipflers in the Aldi bought garden rubbish bag. The seed potatoes used were sitting around in the house all shrivelled up for all summer and then they began to shoot. So I planted them out in early Spring, and kept them watered. They have given us these from two tiny little tubers. I must try this again next year on a bigger scale.
So there is a whole lot of difference in what I can grow when conditions are more favourable. I know many of you will also be getting similar results at this time of year. What a pity that we don't get a much longer window of opportunity.
