I got me an Air Fryer/ dehydrator/ rotisserie/ defroster gadget

I suspect you will hear a lot more about this.  I may even start a group like the pressure cooker one.  For those who have thought about getting one... here is my quick review as posted on facebook.  This is an 11 litre one from KMart for $129.  Bear in mind - the first cook ever. 
Quick air fryer review. First time I have used one. Simple meal of chicken drumsticks and chips. The chips came out beautifully. Very crunchy. My problem was that they went soggy while I was adding 8 minutes to the chicken. I'd preheat the oven to keep them warm and crispy next time. What really surprised me was they were without doubt the best drumsticks I have ever made. Crispy outside but incredibly moist inside. Clean up was easy and straight forward which is a big plus. Winner winner chicken dinner. Only problem is that it is a little noisy with its fan.
I've started checking air fryer quail recipes and I think this has a lot of promise, given the success with those drumsticks. It may well have a lot of promise for many things.  I'll let you know.  Can I encourage anyone who has one to chip in so we can let folks know.

Salt and pepper barramundi with an Indian vegetable side (Sanbar).  Only the fish was done in the fryer.

Good news, Andy, we have an Aldi air fry oven.  I use it everyday to roast my low starch veggies, cauli, bok choy, zucchini, eggplant, mushroom, capsicum, onion and more. About 20-30 mins and it's roasted. 

Season with a beautiful balsamic dressing and salt and yum.  We have made pizza on a stone and chicken legs and beer battered chips for the boys. Great for refreshing breadrolls.  Still more to try.

That is indeed the air fryer.  I like that model much better than the basket ones.  

A google search tells me "Mast-o khiar is an everyday side similar to Indian raita or Greek tzatziki, but raisins, walnuts and rose petals elevate this version of the dish, adding a host of different flavors and textures."  We call it that because My Rozie was taught to cook a lot of middle eastern food by Persians.
