Growing local

I have seen a few Summers here. They come and go while the plants respond to the weather.

But this time around...

I am overwhelmed by the verdant growth. I've had to hack my way along the paths to get from A to B.

I took these photos to showcase how I grow Vetiver inside the beds. Delineating one plant from the other is hard, I know, but the spindly uprights are Vetiver clumps.

Excellent in the chook pen too. Keeps mites and flies down. Great bedding material. You can plant into aquaculture setups to clean water supply.

I've started harvesting for mulch.  Fantastic plant mate!
