Growing local

There's 'a million' blogs out there, just now and then I find one which is outstanding. The 'Happy Earthers' are a young couple who turned a suburban desert into a food forest on steroids. What sets this blog apart from the others is that it is detailed and well illustrated with some superb photos. Their place is in Wollongong, a fairly equable climate for a temperate region and it's not what they grow but the few plants they don't grow! It's great to see young people getting right into the suburban sustainability thing. They have worked very hard and very smart too and the results speak for themselves. Go here and see how it grabs you!
