There is a fruit shop at Albany Creek which also sends you off with a cardboard box for your fruit and veg. (Fresh Extremes Fruit Market). Love shopping there, always seems to be lovely and fresh (haven't been to the Samford IGA). Why did you 'fall away from the weekly reports', Jodie? (Too much to do, on top of everything else, to actually report weekly?).

I remember that's what you get from the local grocers, a cardboard box, to carry your purchases when I first arrived in Australia... it was a cultural shock for us, but it made sense since most people drive to shop and park in front of the shop anyway, not a long way to carry it ..

I've been a member since very early on but fell away from the weekly reports.  There's no judgement - it's just about improving your own graph.

The Greenstreet crew were successful in lobbying the local IGA to allow a community bag and box collection to help local reduce their plastic consumption.  I think it has been successful.  Don't know anywhere else where you can see people shopping with a cardboard box full of shopping under their arm.
