Well Glen has begun his foray into permaculture his block is slashed, he has brought in a chap to create a dam, swales will be created, fruit trees and rain forest trees will be planted, vegetable beds will be planted as well. He has bought a tractor to help with the labour and will cut and mill his own timber, first job a shed and then a ford across the creek, he can't wait roll on March.

Then he fixed the flitches to the face of the shop to give the log cabin effect, almost finished. Next time you are up there in Blackbutt have a look and a coffee.

Then he cut the flitches which are the outside log pieces, for the exterior wall covering.

Oh dear Glen is always getting sidetracked. He has become very friendly with some neighbors who have a shop in town, a cafe actually, they serve lovely food. Their shop front needed to be revamped so of course Glen offered to do it. First of all he made these amazing handrails.

Not bad for a $299 concrete mixer online from Crazy Sales, and he must to have been crazy to do this all by hand, YES.

Two abutments are finished now to wait for the concrete to cure, about 27days now.
