I not at the stage where I can produce enough for us without having to purchase more - thought this site may be good at getting my fruit/veges really fresh and direct from the growers
This sounds like a good idea. I never really produce more than I can eat though so I don't know if I would ever post something. I live next to a school so I figure if my banana's ever get too much for me, I would just put it out the front and see if someone wants it.
Let us know how it goes Elaine.
Now I've had a look at this site, it could be worthwhile in time. I was a bit surprised to see 'find food in Amsterdam' on the front page … but after I registered, it had changed to 'find food in Brisbane' Phewww. I figure if I've got more Bananas than I can manage that I could give it a whirl and sell some, make a change from giving stuff away.
It seems to be worldwide.
Followed a few links and ended up at this Brisbane info area. There was another site like this a while back but it was poorly maintained and a bit useless.
